Kooks bassist quits band for good
The Kooks bear for good parted slipway with bass part player Scoop Rafferty.
Rafferty had antecedently spent several periods away from the group because of illness, simply he has straight off left hand the Brighton rock grouping for goodness, according to his bandmates.
He volition be replaced by Guy the Dog's bassist Dan Logan on a temp groundwork.
No reason for Rafferty's leaving has been given by The Kooks.
A program line from the ring said: "Soap Rafferty has parted company with The Kooks - the band will be continuing with the forthcoming shows. Dan Mount Logan, bassist with local Brighton banding True cat the Hound, will be filling in for the short-term."
The Kooks ar currently preparing for the release of their second album 'Konk' on 14 April, which is the follow-up to their enormously successful debut 'Inside In/Inside Out'.
